Hi there guys! I’m going to focus on some of my favorite Vapid Bath & Body products. I love that Vapid creates scents that carry over across several products. It’s so fun to be able to use several products to just layer that scent you love. With that being said, today I’m going g to showcase Whipped Sugar Scrubs, Body Cream, and Body Bars.
Vapid Lacquer Whipped Sugar Scrubs
I love, love, love the whipped sugar scrubs! I’ve made my own sugar scrubs before, but Vapid’s have this wonderful airy consistency that I just think is light and perfect. To me, it feels like they are probably technically soap as well as exfoliating scrub, and they come in so many fun scents and corresponding marbleized colors! Don’t judge me, but I actually own eight of them right now! And I actually have one still sitting on my wish list.
According to Vapid, they are creamy and easy to use, don’t leave you feeling oily, and rinse away smooth and clean. I would absolutely agree! That’s what I love about them. They recommend using them daily on hands and feet and two to three times a week on your entire body. However, they only recommend use on hands, feet and body, as they are highly exfoliating. Many people love to use them before shaving, but my personal preference is after shaving, to just really smooth the skin. These come in 4 ounce and 8 ounce sizes, except for Hard Candy, which comes in a 3 ounce size.
Here is part of my scrub collection (I also have Rice Crispy Treats and Hard Candy), but don’t ask me to pick a favorite!
Fairy Sugar: A sweet blend of bamboo, citrus and pomegranate with creamy undertones of berry and musk and sweetened with vanilla and sugar cane crystals. Clean and fresh, sweet and juicy!
Unicorn Milk: Sweet strawberries, ripe juicy peaches and frosting!
Mermaid Tears: Coconut splashed with lemon and orange notes, juicy and almost salty.
Rise & Shine: Fresh, juicy orange notes, with apple, grapefruit, peach and strawberry with a touch of loganberry. One of Vapid’s original best selling scents!
Cap’n Crunk Loops: Sweet cereal milk, with fruit bursting at the seams of the most delectable loops.
Boardwalk: Saltwater taffy, kettle corn and strawberry taffy. This sweet and creamy, salty and wonderful scent is over the top happy!
Vapid Lacquer Body Cream
This is definitely another favorite product of mine. I don’t really like body lotions very often, but these are awesome because I love to use one of the scrubs in the shower and then the corresponding body cream once I dry off. I smell like my favorite Vapid scent all day! At the moment, I have Unicorn Milk, Cap’n Crunk Loops, and, my favorite, Girl From Ipanema. GFI is a seasonal scent for Vapid and we may see it make an appearance again this summer. The GFI body cream is shimmering, so it leaves a little gold shimmer all over! Perfect for summer.
These body creams are 100% natural, super thick and very creamy. So they are gentle but extremely moisturizing. They are somewhere between a lotion and a body butter. Not hard like a butter, but nowhere near as runny as a lotion. Another awesome perk is that Vapid has found a preservative for these creams that isn’t totally chemical laden and can support a goat’s milk based product for longer than 6 months. Therefore, these creams will last for 2 years! Which is great because a little bit goes a very long way! Also, a note: they are not intended for use on the face, as they are a very heavy moisturizer. These come in 2 ounce, 4 ounce, 8 ounce and 16 ounce sizes.
Vapid Lacquer Body Bars
The body bars have actually been very important to me as a Floridian and I’ll tell you why: they work wonders on dry or cracked heels. And, I’ll be honest, I live in flip flops. So I need my feet to be looking cute at all times. They come in a really easy to use twist up tube. The one I’m currently using is Cap’n Crunk Loops (maybe you’re starting to see a pattern here).
According to Vapid, their body bars, or lotion bars, are intensely moisturizing and meant for use on hands, feet and body, as they are too concentrated for facial use. This moisturizer is the perfect spot treatment for patchy dry skin or problem areas, like elbows and knees. Hands and feet LOVE these lotion bars, they are not a true lotion, since there is no water added, so they help to protect our heavy working hands and feet. No water means that this moisturizer doesn’t wash away as easily with water, helping to protect these problem areas and provide the moisture and care that your skin needs. These come in 2 ounce and .75 ounce sizes.
