Vapid Lacquer: Summer Shenanigans 2017 Collection

Happy Weekend everyone! Today I have a new collection by Vapid Lacquer to show you! This is the Summer Shenanigans 2017 Collection, launching on June 18! It consists of four fun, bright, and a bit bitchy, er…beachy shades as well as one oldie that definitely deserved a reboot. All of these have such nice formulas with a few squishy jellies thrown in there just to make me happy I think. There’s also a really fun new body product launching this month that I am personally super excited about…Moisturizing Body Spray! Let’s get to the swatches!

Vapid Lacquer Give ‘Em Shell

This is a sandy, lightly nude base with blue and green to violet shifting shimmer. There are also a few ultra fine shifting teal to green glitters! The shimmer in this one is hardcore! It looks like one of those beautiful beach shells you collect in a plastic pail while you’re on summer vacation.

This one is described as a swimming blue with a light shimmer and micro rainbow flakies throughout. It has a satin finish, so Vapid’s High Shine Top Coat is recommended. It’s a bit on the jelly side, so I did three thin coats for full opacity. The formula on this one is amazing and I have no staining to report after wearing it overnight. This is a really unique shade of ocean blue that is truer to color in the sunlight images, but even slightly more teal in person.

Coraltastic and slightly shimmering, this is a very fun color that’s perfect for the beach! This one also has a satin finish, so Vapid’s High Shine Top Coat is recommended. Another squishy jelly with an amazing formula, so again I did three thin coats for full opacity. It definitely leans more orange or more pink depending on your lighting, as these photos show. I included a shot I took just sitting by a window in my family room because this one looked most true to color. This is going to be on my toes all summer! It is the perfect coral I have always searched for.

A bright and rather bold pink with a touch of pinky-violet shimmer. Creamy and ready to get in your face! This one also has a satin finish, so Vapid’s High Shine Top Coat is recommended. I also included a shot of this one that I took just sitting by a window in my family room. This is a pink that even the pink haters need.

A returning oldie that I have been begging Krys to bring back for what feels like years! I am so excited to have this on my fingers I can’t even stand it. This was my biggest Vapid lemming! This is a gorgeous cobalt blue jelly with linear holo bursting at the seams! I did three thin coats for full opacity. I just love this color so very much!

Vapid Lacquer Moisturizing Body Spray
These little goodies started showing up as samples last restock and luckily that means they’re going to be launching this month because they are amazing! Only a spray or two of these is needed as they are alcohol free and highly scented. I did one test spray on my wrist and rubbed them together and I could still smell the scent on both wrists up to six hours later. So far we have seen about six different scents making the rounds and they may change month to month.
