Illyrian Polish: The Summer Nights Trio, Volume 2

Provided For Review

Hi everyone! Tonight I have an upcoming trio by Illyrian Polish, The Summer Nights: Volume 2 Trio! Like last year’s gorgeous trio, we have a beautiful shimmer, a shimmer holo and a sparkly, glittery confection. This trio is launching in Illyrian’s online shop on July 21st, along with a restock that will include the amazing Spellbind Collection!

Illyrian Polish Haze
Two Coats Plus Top Coat
Sunlight (First Two Images) & Artificial Lighting (Last Two Images)

Like last year’s Dazed, Haze is a gorgeous lightly colored creme shimmer polish. It appears lavender or periwinkle depending on your lighting condition but the amazing coppery red shimmer is always apparent. Basically every polish Illyrian makes with this shimmer is necessary. I didn’t want to remove it.

Illyrian Polish Sunset
Two Coats Plus Top Coat
Sunlight (First Two Images) & Artificial Lighting (Last Two Images)

If Haze is this year’s Dazed, then Sunset is this year’s Blue Moon. This is a super sparkly rose gold holographic polish with blue and pink microflakes and shimmer for days. This one is absolutely blinding in the sun! I think it’s a stunning neutral.

Illyrian Polish Butterflies
Three Coats Plus Gelous & Top Coat
Sunlight (First Two Images) & Artificial Lighting (Last Three Images)

And finally, the counterpart to last year’s Fireflies, Butterflies is a blue jelly base with lots of little silver holo hex glitters, turquoise to purple shifting shimmer, and holo. The jelly base and all the glitter called for my usual three coats and Gelous plus top coat. No issues to report here! Another sparkler!

This is an awesome follow-up to last year’s Trio and will be launching on July 21st!

  1. Gorgeous swatches! Haze is easily my favorite of the trio. Do you happen to know how it compares to Lacquester’s Don’t Be Shy?
