Hi guys! It’s been a little while, I’ve been busy. My son starts Kindergarten on Monday! Anyway, I’m back and I have an amazing new collection from Illyrian Polish. The Nil Collection is launching on Friday, August 25th at 6PM Central. This gorgeous six piece collection is heavy on the shimmer, something Illyrian is definitely known for. I have to say, I would probably have purchased this entire collection. One of the polishes, Alien, is releasing in a very limited run during the launch, but it will be available in future restocks. If you purchase the full collection, it will include Alien, but it will not be available individually this time. Without further ado…

Illyrian Polish Aurora
Four Coats Plus Top Coat
Sunlight (First Three Images) & Artificial Lighting (Last Two Images)
Aurora is a teal polish with an almost molten glow. It is absolutely filled with shifting flakes that shift from teal, to blue, through pink, to green. The formula on this one is on the thinner side, and that’s to allow the shifty flakes to shine through.

This is a drop dead gorgeous polish. Love Potion definitely cast its spell on me and it is one of my favorites. This is a beautiful lavender crelly with an amazing pink shimmer, holo, and gorgeous multicolored flakes. This one is seriously perfect.

Illyrian Polish Moonshine

Moonshine is a blue grey tinted base full of holo glitter, red/green iridescent glitter, holo, strong copper shimmer, and very tiny purple iridescent flakes. They’re all my favorite, but this one may be my favorite favorite.

Illyrian Polish Blue Dream

Oh man, I keep saying this one or that one is my favorite, but really, look at this! Blue Dream is a blue tinted jelly base full of microglitter, ridiculous, glowing pink to gold to green shifting shimmer, and holo. This one, Juicy Fruit, and Alien seem like a trio within a collection to me.

Juicy Fruit is a purple tinted jelly base full of microglitter, crazy gold to green to teal to blue shifting shimmer, and holo.

And finally, we have Alien. This is a smoky grey tinted jelly base with microglitter, fantastic pinky purple shimmer that shifts to a rusty red at extreme angles, and holo.

This is definitely my favorite full collection in a long time! Each one is just beautiful! The formula on these was so, so good, it stayed just where you put it. I probably could have gotten away with two coats on a lot of these, but I did three for consistency. Also, the glitters were smooth enough for me with just a coat of quick dry top coat, but some people will probably want to layer a coat of Gelous over them. Removal was as to be expected for glitter, but nothing too difficult at all. Be sure to get yours on August 25th!
